David completed degrees in Cell and Developmental Biology (BA), as well as Health and Society (BA) at the University of Rochester where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. David completed an MD-PhD through Case Western Reserve University, with a PhD focus in health services research, which included training in evidence-based medicine.
​David has practiced as a board licensed dermatologist, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (DipABLM). David has a wide range of interests and a passion for healthy longevity and mind-body wellness, culminating in a wide range of experiences including nutritional certifications from IIN as an “Integrative Health Coach,” IFNA in nutrition, and positive psychology from Kripalu. David holds an MBA from UMass Amherst and an MS in Psychology.
