Dr. O’Connor earned his master’s degree in neuroscience from Northwestern University Medical School and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Baylor College of Medicine. His postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley focused on muscle stem cells and aging. He previously served as Vice President of Research at SENS Research Foundation, where he oversaw a broad portfolio of rejuvenation biotechnology programs spanning multiple age-related diseases. He is currently Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Cyclarity Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing therapeutics targeting the root causes of age-related disease. Dr. O’Connor is an inventor on numerous patents and the author of scientific publications in aging, regenerative medicine, and age-related disease.
