Siow, Ph.D.

Richard Siow is Director of Ageing Research at King's (ARK) and a group leader in the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine & Sciences, Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King's College London. He is also a visiting Professor in the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on nutrigenomics in cardiovascular health in the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence at King's. He was previously Vice Dean (International) of the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s and is currently the Industry Partnerships Lead for the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Brain Health. He is the Honorary Secretary General of European Society of Preventive Medicine, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Longevity (Taylor and Francis), and an Advisor to The Lancet Healthy Longevity and the Longevity Science Foundation. He is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and the European Society for Preventive Medicine.
