Justin Taylor is a technical expert and science communicator with a background spanning programming, writing, science, and public policy. He has published about a wide range of topics including metascience and policy. In 2016, he co-founded Academics for the Future of Science (AFS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established at MIT to advocate for scientific research funding and support early-career researchers. He worked with co-founder Dr. Christin Glorioso to build AFS subsidiary Longevity Global, an organization dedicated to connecting longevity researchers, investors, entrepreneurs, and clinicians to foster community and collaboration across the longevity ecosystem. Longevity Global has since grown to more than 25 chapters worldwide. As VP of Communications and Boston Chapter Director, Taylor leads event production, speaker programming, and organizational communications, including the organization's flagship summits, which convene leading scientists, founders, and investors in the field. His work emphasizes rigorous standards of evidence and clear science communication in an area where distinguishing well-supported research from unproven claims remains a central challenge.
