Nivedita Nambrath is a Masters student at Columbia University's Institute for Human Nutrition. She is completing her thesis research in the laboratory of Dr. Matthew Yousefzadeh, where she is investigating the impact of rapamycin on immune aging. Prior to her masters studies, she worked for two years at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard's Claussnitzer Lab, where she explored the functional genomics underlying type 2 diabetes and obesity. She holds a Bachelors degree from Wellesley College in Biochemistry, with a minor in Economics.
