Rob Shekoyan is a graduate student at Columbia University in the Department of Biological Sciences. His work focuses on the systems biology of aging, inferring upstream regulators of cell state in chronic disease, and building quantitative aging models. Rob previously earned his bachelors in developmental biology from Harvard, where he spent three years working at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and led Harvard's iGEM program. Rob also founded Aevitas, an incubator and residency programs for technical founders building aging-related companies. Aevitas cohort members have raised over $1.5 million to date, and the program currently operates nodes in San Francisco, New York, and Japan. Rob also maintains the Longevity Biotech Atlas, a searchable database of over 750 organizations in aging and regenerative medicine.
